Kelton is the oldest and is in 2cd grade at Ephrata Mennonite school.

Kadin is almost 6 and and in kindergarten at EMS.

Kedric is 2 yrs old and a bundle of energy!! Keeping him in place was the hardest job.

Sunday ' walk about'

Walk About - to walk with no particular goal.

This past Sunday was the peak of fall color in our area and it was a beautiful fall day, so we went on a Walk About with my brother Mike & his family and my parents. First we drove to Never Sink Mt.  in Mt. Penn and walked the hiking paths, it was so beautiful, I was way behind because I kept finding things to snap pictures of!

Next we headed over to Antietam Lake. The reflection of the trees on the lake was beautiful.

Then we decided to go up to Reading's Skyline Drive.

We stopped along the drive at the old fire tower. Just as we drove in a man opened up the building, and some of our group climbed up to the top. They were actually outside on the very top! Mike took pictures of the towers on 3 mile island and a buildings in Philidelphia!

I took this picture for the moon showing above the trees.
Our next stop along the drive was the Pagoda. It's the building you see at night above Reading on the mountain and is lit up with red lights.

The view was increible, esp. as the sun was going down!
Looking out over the city of Reading.

While Dave & Dillon checked out the building to see if it was open, i was taking lots of pictures. This building has lots of really neat details, notice the golden lion heads on the corners. The building was closed,  it's only open on Sat. & Sun. from 12 to 4pm.

What a beautiful day it was, I kept thinking, I wish I could bottle some of this up for the winter.

God's beautiful masterpieces

Driving home one night after pictures and seen this beautiful sunset, just had to pull over again. Of course this looks so much better on my 22' screen !

The two above this were taken at the same time & same spot, just focused on different spot and zoomed in on one.
The next few were taken on my way home from the grocery store one night on Shoeneck rd near Indiantown rd. I was struck by the towers parading off into the sunset.   Later I wished I would have moved farther to the left as to not have the wires drape into the picture from the left . thought it might have given it a less cluttered look?  These last two were taken at the same place as the above pictures but turning to my left. I liked the silloutte of the farm! Notice the moon is twinkling.

Good night,

Fall glory

Last Saturday as I was driving arround taking pictures for clients, I kept noticing all the beautiful fall colors, so I turned arround several times to take pictures. It was a dreary, windy, overcast day but even that couldn't keep the brilliant colors from showing!

I liked this old barn ! Would be a fun place to take pictures and with the red color, it would be perfect for Christmas cards!

I drove by this pole covered  with poison ivy. The color was so beautiful, I had to once again make that u-turn! I specially like the pictures with the green arbiviate in the background! I was struck with the thought how God could take an awful plant like pioson ivy and create such a beautiful show! then it occured to me that it's kind of like what he does for us, he takes us as we are, full of sin and thru his grace creates a beautiful new person !
