More signs of the holidays !

Baking cookies with my friends is a favorite tradition of mine ! I am blessed to have a friend who's parents have a pizza oven in their garage. We bring our dough along and by lunch dozens and dozens of cookies are baked and waiting to be divided between everyone!
This year I took the dough for these double chocolate walnut drops, mmm mmm so good ! I love walnuts in cookies but most of my family does not!
These cookies had a mint inside!

These also had some type of chocolate hidden inside!

Mmm another of my fav's,   monster cookies! This year we didn't have as many people helping but I still came home with 8 dozen + cookies ! I so enjoyed the time I was there, a chance to reconnect with some friends I hadn't seen in awhile. Let me know what your favorite cookie is !

Warmer times ! A photo shoot with Matt,Dorothy & Giana Garman!

These pictures remind me of a warmer time ! We met at my favorite spot for this year for pictures. I had met Giana before when we took her 1 yr pictures. This time it was for family pictures for Christmas cards.

I had lots of fun with them and they were willing to try different things ! Giana loved having daddy there to help make her smile and of course my trusty Elmo helped keep her attention too!

I love when people bring along their own props, it helps to create a unique look just for them!  That is one thing I've been trying to create for my business, not having a certain look like most portrait studios have.

Always love an upclose portrait!

Love this picture alot!! and so did they !

Nothing more precious or sweeter than a family!

Thanks so much for giving me the chance to photograph your family !

Our Christmas tradition !

A few years ago I began helping Dillon & Amanda create fresh evergreen centerpieces for their teachers, now they look forward to it every year !

Amanda picked white berries for her centerpiece.
They each had a clip-on cardinal, some berries & glitterballs to use for their decorations, I made them some bows to tuck in as well.

Dillon picked sparkly lime green berries for his teacher's centerpiece.

Christmas Party food Mmm Mmmm!

Just had to share some pictures of the food we had a our friend's Christmas party!! This year we decided to have a finger food/ appetizer type meal, we did have sandwich 'makings" as the only plan food. We ended up with 2 soups and several dips and lots of other really yummy foods! Above was a stuffed shell with broccoli, if I remember right.

Loaded potato skins with ham, cheese, bacon , etc.

Stuffed mushrooms wrapped in bacon, they were soooo good and soon disappered !
Little smokeys wrapped in cheese & rolls.

A type of twice baked potato with broccoli & cheese.
Tiny little pastries with a nice choc. kick!

Centerpieces drove the kiddo's ( and men) crazy before we ate !

Mmm a nice refreshing fruit tray !
Kiddo's emptied this tray of jello cutouts in no time !!!!

And I'll end with a sneak peak at my decorations ! This is the entrance to my garden, Dave built the gate this summer so I think it needs to be stained alittle to age it to match the fence. I was envisioning a wrought iron gate there, maybe some day when I find one, I'll replace this one ! I like the added affect of the snow !

Glenn & Annalisa Martin

If your getting married and pictures are important to you and you want a more relaxed wedding day, I would suggest a B & G photo shoot the week before the wedding if possible. I met Glenn & Annalisa the wed. before their wedding at poole forge for their bridal shoot.  We basically had the place to ourselves and  we were able to go from place to place at our own pace, not having to keep an eye on the time !
The brides pretty flowers !

We even had time to take some shots with Glenn's car !

I like the expression on Glenn's face as he's looking at Annalisa,
and here is his beautiful bride !

Thanks for being a great sport Glenn & doing everthing we asked of you ! This picture turned out great and would be a great canvas wrap! Congratulations to you both and may you have a long & blessed marriage !!!
