Apple Orchard 2010

I have decided to share a few of the fun sessions I did last year and never had time to blog !

I met Matt, Dorothy & Gianna at this apple orchard near Blue Ball, PA and it turned out to be sooooo cold and wind ! Poor Gianna was freezing even with her cute little vest on.  Dorothy had come up with this idea of an apple orchard and found some really neat props to go with it!

I loved this chair she pulled of the neighbors trash pile and cleaned up !

Dorothy loves vintage finishes on her pictures and these worked out so well !

I've been really dissapointed at the graininess in my pictures I've uploaded onto the blog lately but I think you can still what your supposed too!

Picking Apples !

Some of these photos of Gianna are almost the same but yet each has a diff. expression and they were all soooo cute, I couldn't pick just one !!! Gianna's daddy knows just what to do to get her to smile.

Dorothy was expecting a baby, so we did a few maternity shoots.

Matt & Dorothy have welcomed another little girl into their family !

The love of a family is life's greatest blessing !!

Cowan Grant Martin

Welcome to Cowan Grant !!! This was the front of his birth announcement.

Before heading indoors , we crossed the road to take a few outdoor shots.

Awww, so tired !

Big brother was along and so we added him to the picture!

I love the emotion in this picture !, he really loved his little brother!

And baby Cowan kept on sleeping ,even when we moved inside !

The Golden Hour

The beautiful "Golden Hour" is in the evening just before the sun goes down and the light mellows out into soft golden tones !

Amanda's been asking to have her pictures taken, so I decided to take advantage of that and play with sunlight and rim lighting effects.

We hiked out into a field near the house, kinda scary because we both thought of snakes !!!

Amanda has the most amazing smile and has smiled at everyone since she was born, but put her in front of the camera and that smile becomes soo fake and frozen ! So I have to work extra hard to make her smile naturally. She is getting better as she's getting older !

How did my baby grow up so fast?

and why does she seem to want to keep growin up fast?

She's becoming such a blessing with housework and cooking ! This morning she made some pancakes that were cooked just pefectly to a golden brown ! Mmm Mm,  so good !

Still loves here American Girl Doll - Mia , esp. combing her hair !!

We thought we were done until I seen this patch of purple thistles.

So we took a few more but her smile was wearing thin , so I ended up taking pictures of the wild flowers and berries.

I love you Amanda and I'm looking forward ( I think !) to watching you blossom into a beautiful young lady !
