Happy 4th of July !!!

 Tonight we went to watch the Ephrata fireworks at Lincoln Heights Park. We were so close I could hardily get the entire fireworks display in my lens! I grabbed my tripod on the way out the door but forgot to get the piece that goes on the camera, so my pix's ended up being hand held. I think the pictures may have gotten clearer if I had used a tripod but at least I have some =)  This year I've been thinking alot about the 4th of July and our country - anyone have any books on early americans that were christans ? I thought it would be neat to have a discussion with the children about how our country was founded on christian principles.

Another Sat. morning and the wedding day of Brian & Bethany. We met at the Ephrata cloister for pictures before the wedding and I was thankful for lower tempatures and less humidity than earlier in the week !

I could not wait to post a sample of pictures from this families shoot! I had fun meeting the Riehl family. We met over in Lititz on a hot muggy evening but had some great lighting !! I loved the colors Twila picked for her family, they were bright & bold , perfect for this spot.

Keldon & Staci Martin ~ June 25, 2010

A  beautiful sunny friday, not quite as humid as the rest of the week was,  yeah !!  We started at the church taking some pictures of the bride's dress and other 'pretties'.

Aaahh and what 'pretties' they were !! Lots of sparkles ~~ Sparkly initials in the brides bouquet and sparkles on the shoes.

 

We moved to the Ephrata Cloister for the formal pictures before the wedding.

Staci had so many beautiful details in her dress and flowers ! More sparkles in the hearts that were part of her sash.

And Keldon was looking quite dashing himself with white tipped shoes, vest and matching bow ! Later he added a hat & shades to the mix!
