Christmas Tea

On Dec. 3rd the ladies from our church small group hosted a tea party at Melody Martin's home. We had given a certificate to the Ephrata Mennonite School sale and that certificate was bought by Daryel Weaver as a birthday gift for his wife Jenn. She was able to choose 7 friends to join her for the tea! Melody had prepared a table with appitizers and a strawberry punch by the door to greet our guests as they arrived !

Mel's diningroom set up and ready to go !

Andrea created a menu for each lady.

Cute little frames for name cards.

The table was set with a beautiful green salad

Next we served a cheesey broccoli crab soup garnished with cheese and parsley.
Then came the sandwiches

We served 4 kinds of sandwiches, a ranch, bacon & roast beef wrap, a cucumber & tomato sandwich, ham salad on sourdough & an almond chicken salad w/ dried cranberries .
Mmm, after the sandwiches & soup were finished,  we served warm wilbur bud scones( made by Andrea)  with lemon curd & devonshire cream.

Any one getting full yet? Hold on we still have dessert to serve !

dessert tray - top layer was mints & homemade candies by Mary Ann -  second layer mmm.. choc. covered strawberries & mini fruit tarts - third layer ooohhh, a choc. lovers dream come true ! a choc. velvet cake made by Andrea

And a fresh strawberries on a cloud crepes mmmm. Crepes were made by Barb.
